Lose Weight Yesterday

By June Travis

There are ways to lose weight rather quickly without hurting your body. The key is to not stay on a quick weight loss diet for long period of time. Actually a few weeks is sufficient.

There are others, all of which have been marketed aggressively across the country. People are ready to jump on any new diet that seems better than the last one that they tried. There are millions of books, radio and TV advertisements pushing diet after diet.

You'll probably feel very tired, irritable, and have constipation. You can start with the quick start for a few weeks. After that you need to follow another diet to lose more weight and keep it off.

By reducing carbohydrate intake, you will lose weight. That seems like a great concept! Someone forgot that the human body needs carbs for daily function.

The path of effectiveness is headed by setting targets. Start by determining how much weight you want to lose. Set this goal and not be afraid to set goals for the same weight loss weekly.

Find out how many calories and how much fat content are in the foods that you do enjoy. This will allow you to sort of custom create your own diet. Just be health conscious of what you decide on.

There is no way for someone to eat that much fatty food and justify that it is healthy to do so. Another problem with this type of weight loss is that carbs all fall into one group. Stay away from grains, fruits, beans, potatoes, rice, pastas, and some vegetables.

Diets that are low in carbs and high in fats are nothing more than an invitation for heart disease. They promote food that you must avoid! That doesn't mean that you can eat as much bacon as you want to.

You must have a plan of exercise or you will not lose weight. You must burn more calories than you consume. You do not have to go to the gym or run two miles every day.

Only you know when the time is right for you to start a weight loss program. There may be factors that trigger when the time is right but it is a personal choice. It doesn't have to be hard and you don't have to dread it.

Watch what you eat! Select the best food choices. Be diligent and exercise and you will notice a difference.
