The Cause Of Stuttering And How To Deal With Them

The causes of stuttering has been argued by many professionals. Many believe that stuttering is a condition brought upon by mental issues, others believe that it is purely hereditary. The definite cause still remains in limbo.

The more common ideas on the cause of stuttering are fear of speaking in public, trauma caused by bad childhood experiences, or stuttering passed down from generations.

Fear can be a mental block that triggers a person to stutter uncontrollably. The fear of speaking in public can create breathing difficulties thus creating hesitation in otherwise normal speech.

Trauma from life experiences and bad childhood experiences can also be attributed to stuttering. The pressure due to past trauma can also lead to shortness of breath. This in turn can lead to stuttering issues.

Trauma and fear can both cause someone to suffer from anxiety. The ability to control anxiety will rely on rather a person can find ways to become relax.

Stuttering is often passed down from parent to child. It is common to find that many stutterers have parents who also stutter. This can sometimes be attributed to learned behavior.

The answer to the causes of stuttering are several. Instead of concentrating on finding the cause, it is much easier to work on finding a solution.

The many opinions on what causes stuttering is just speculation. There has never been a definitive origin of the condition. In contrast, there are solutions that have been known to generate results. If you are someone who stutters, I am almost certain that your main focus will be finding the cure anyway.
