Explained - How Can I Lose 10 Pounds Fast

Weight Reduction Is Massive... It's important to understand that as well as being a concern for millions; dieting is very commercially profitable. And the temptation for weight loss companies to cash in on the nation's obesity problem is huge - as the annual spend on diet products runs into billions.

So How Extensive Is Obesity? It's quite likely that you're hoping to drop at least a few pounds, even if your problem isn't extreme. It's now believed that in the USA alone, around seventy percent of people are too heavy. Which amounts to some two hundred and ten million folks...

Other countries are catching up fast too... It's a sorry state of affairs.

Surveys in the UK show that getting on for one fourth of all adults suffer from obesity. But what's worse - By 2050 the obesity level could be ninety per cent!

We have to take corrective action now. We've got to stop the trend before it's too late. Proper eating programs are required reading; ignore all the hype from diet pill manufacturers.

Obesity can increase the risk of a number of diseases and ailments, such as - Heart Failure and Disease, Cancers, High Blood Pressure, Diabetes (Type Two), Mental Health Issues, Sleep Apnoea, High Cholesterol, Osteo-arthritis and Disease of the Liver.

Obviously with the threat of all these health issues, reducing our weight is a major priority. Fat loss isn't about getting to size zero - you should be aiming for a weight that's good for your health. The RIGHT weight varies so much between people, but we usually have a fairly good idea of what's comfortable, and what we can maintain.

We should also teach our kids about good health. We should educate our youngsters from an early age, helping them to form good habits from the start. Keep doing the same thing, and both you and the kids will have to live with the consequences. We can surely adopt better parenting skills than that?
